Experts debate the existence of Internet Addictive Disorder, but allow me to offer an opinion from a long-time gamer's point of view. Internet addiction is just as real as your face, and the danger it poses to this and coming generations is underestimated.
What I hate most about flying is the security check. I don't mind the wait, or having to take off my shoes, or cramming all my embarrassing hygiene products in a transparent Ziploc for the world to stare at, or being taken into a cubicle to be privately patted down.
Last night I was watching CSPAN (yes, insert nerd alert here) and I was absolutely appalled to find that the stalwart of boring political coverage (think British parliamentary live coverage) had been overtaken by YouTube. I'm a big proponent of the populist political coverage that CNN, most visibly, and other network and cable shows have been pushing during this election season.
